Encounters
Gestures of the house opened, with measure, to a few admitted guests — never a programme, never a spectacle.
The Riad does not organise events. It lives according to a rhythm — prayer, crafts, table, silence — and, from time to time, opens certain of these gestures to chosen guests.
These are not spectacles or lectures: they are moments of the house, shared with measure.

Music & vigils
Shared listening, traditional instruments, silence after the notes.

Talks
Word, reading, conversation — the majlis of the house.
أَعَزُّ مَكَانٍ فِي الدُّنَى سَرْجُ سَابِحٍ وَخَيْرُ جَلِيسٍ فِي الزَّمَانِ كِتَابُ
« The noblest place in this world is the saddle of a steed; the best companion in time is a book. »
— Abū al-Ṭayyib al-Mutanabbī, 10th century

Accompanied visits
Discover the house with a resident — the patio, the garden, the workshops.
ضَيْفٌ لَهُمْ يَقْرِي الضُّيُوفَ وَنَازِلٌ مُتَكَفِّلٌ عَنْهُمْ بِبِرِّ النُّزَّلِ
« A guest among them who receives guests, and a resident charged, in their name, with the kindness due to travellers. » — al-Buhturī
The framework
Encounters are not open to the public. They are inscribed in the calendar of the house and remain reserved for admitted guests and, sometimes, for guests of the formation.
The priority always remains the rhythm of the residents and apprentices. Opening is a gesture, not a product.
